Mark is a very artistically talented surgeon and wonderful employer. Dr. Petroff is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Do you have children: I have 3 amazing children and 2 adorable labradoodles.
How long have you been married: I have been married for 27 years to my wife, Karen.
Hobbies: Golf, tennis and wine.
Karen started the practice with her husband in 1989 and then took some time off to raise their 3 children. She rejoined the practice in 2003. She has incredible knowledge and background in sales and marketing, and is responsible for all aspects of advertising for the practice.

A Hobby? Running, snow skiing, and working out with friends.

Dream profession? A backup singer for Michele Bublé. A girl can dream!
Krista began working with Dr. Petroff back at his 1200 square foot office at St. Vincent Hospital, and has assisted him throughout the transition and growth of his practice. Krista is responsible for the coordination and management of the clinic, medspa and surgery center.

What is your best achievement? I have successfully raised an amazing young man who is extremely ambitious and well-rounded. Despite the many challenges in our lives, he is currently attending college at the University of Montana and pursuing his dreams. The best part is that he shares everything with me and he is a great communicator. One day he will make a wonderful husband to someone very special.
My favorite sports memory? Brandon Roy game winner vs. Houston Rockets 11/6/08.
What is your motto? You can do anything at least once, but you might die in the process of trying.
Craziest thing you have ever done? I ran Hood to Coast with several co-workers from the Petroff Center. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a runner so I volunteered to take the first leg which had the least amount of miles to run. However, the first 6 miles downhill from Timberline did a sweet number on my legs! Hence, this is where I came up with the motto listed above!
Where did you meet your spouse? We technically met on MySpace in 2006.
Are you a Native Oregonian? No, I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to Oregon in 1986.
Mallory greets everyone with a smile serving as our Patient Coordinator. A native Oregonian, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Science at the University of Oregon, with a minor in Human Physiology. While working on her degree, Mallory was also in charge of new member education for her Alpha Phi sorority. Mallory’s bright personality and desire to learn makes her a perfect fit for our team! We are confident that her warm demeanor will make everyone feel welcome!

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Mexican
Brianne is a very professional and outgoing individual. She meets with all prospective patients, providing them a detailed quote following their consultation with Dr. Petroff. Brianne works directly with our patients to coordinate and schedule all aspects of their surgery.

A dream vacation: An all-inclusive trip to the Maldives—I’d lay on the beach with a cocktail for days on end.
What is one thing you cannot do without: I’ll be dramatic and say coffee. Of course I can go without it but why in the world would I want to do that?!?
What’s playing in your car right now? Probably a Top 40 station but I go back to my roots a lot and listen to country too!
What do you do for fun? I’m a homebody! I love spending time with my son, friends and family, going boating in the summer, playing Yahtzee and I love wine tasting!
Kelsey Wells, RN
ASC Nurse Manager
Kelsey began her employment as a Medical Assistant with the Petroff Center in 2007. She left in 2010 to complete her education, returning to the Petroff Center as a Registered Nurse in 2013. Kelsey provides a deep sense of compassion and attentiveness to all of our patients. She coordinates all aspects of the patients’ surgical care, pre and post operatively.

What character trait do you most admire? Kindness
What book are you currently reading? Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg.
What drives you to achieve great results in your department and how did you get it right? People. Even though I do this every day, my patients don’t go through this surgical experience everyday. I am constantly inspired to make each patient’s experience a good one, and that desire to connect with each person is what drives me. I know what a difference strong emotional support can make and I want people to reflect on their experience with us, and feel prepared and supported every step of the way.
Your best beauty secret? Working for a facial plastic surgeon, using our products and spa services as often as possible!
What is the one thing you cannot do without? My family. I’m thankful to be married to an amazing man, and we have twin toddlers – a boy and a girl, Sam and Emmy. The three of them are the absolute light of my life! We also have a family dog, a big black lab mix who loves the kids almost as much as we do!
What do you most like to do to unwind? Relax at home with my family, play with my kids, enjoy a glass of wine or good book (or both!), or sit outside and soak in the sunshine with my friends and family.
Jackie MacDonald, CST
Certified Surgical Technologist
Jackie is a very thorough, meticulous and efficient employee. She is employed as a Surgical Technologist and provides direct support for Dr. Petroff in all aspects of surgical care. Jackie comes to the Petroff Center with 6 years of experience in multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, plastics, gynecology and orthopedics.
What is your dream vacation? A luxury beach holiday in Bali staying in a fully-serviced water bungalow where I have a private chef, masseuse and an endless supply of clean white towels to dry me off after jumping in and out of the water all day.
What is the one thing you cannot do without? My son Nathaniel.
Craziest thing you’ve ever done? I bought myself a skydiving jump for Mother’s Day 2013. It was both terrifying and exhilarating and I can’t wait to do it again.
What is your dream job? To work as a nurse for Life Flight, the non-profit air medical service. It’d be so AWESOME to both fly and save lives!
Best advice anyone has ever given you? My mom told me to follow my heart and move to Oregon from Chicago in 1996. That particular memory of her telling me to “go-for-it” is one of the most vivid memories I have of her.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be? Tacos!
Heidi joined the Petroff Center in September of 2011, contributing her professionalism and creativity. Heidi has ambitiously taken on her role as our Medical Assistant, excelling in all areas of her job. She assists with the pre and post-operative care of our patients. She is a versatile employee and a strong asset to the Petroff Center.

What is your best achievement so far? Finally, getting married after we have dated for 5 ½ years.
What do you do for fun/hobbies? I enjoy cooking, quilting, traveling and going wine tasting with my husband.
Favorite TV shows? I am a TV junkie. I love detective shows such as “Castle” and “Law & Order.” I also like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Downton Abby.”

Karli is a professional, educated and cheerful employee. As a 15-year resident of Lake Oswego, she graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising Management. She went on to further her education and pursue her true passion of esthetics with the Aveda Institute of Portland. Karli radiates positive energy as she thoroughly assesses and creates treatment plans for her patients. She is an asset to our team, and we are so thankful to have her!

Jenna is a highly qualified and successful esthetic professional offering vast knowledge of skin care and a profound passion for her work. She graduated from the Euro Institute of Skincare in 2006, specializing in the anatomy, physiology and care of the skin using a blend of both holistic and medical, results-oriented approach.

Your best beauty secret? I do PCA chemical peels once a month and have a daily maintenance routine with active skincare.
What is the best advice you have ever been given? When making major decisions you should always use your head, and then listen to your heart to confirm. Be practical and don’t overdramatize anything. It will keep you happy and life simple.
Do you have any children? Yes. My son Finn. He is just as sweet as can be! He has completely changed my life and I am so in love!
Where did you meet your spouse? I met my husband Ross in high school originally, but lost track of him until college when a friend reconnected us. We have been married since 2006.
Esthetician / Medical Assistant
Whitney joins our practice as an esthetician with 4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Liberal Arts. Whitney completed additional training from the International Dermal Institute to further her knowledge in international skincare techniques, diseases and disorders of the skin.
Whitney’s love for the art of brow shaping began while with working with Anastasia Sakar of Anastasia Beverly Hills, and she has also worked as a freelance make-up artist. We are very excited about her additional skills and background that will strengthen our team.
What’s playing in your car right now? Romeo Santos. I have a (not so secret) love for Spanish music! Five years in Los Angeles will do that; you can even catch me singing along.
What is your favorite food? Salad! Seriously.
What do you do for fun? I spend most of my free time either at the gym taking one of my favorite work out classes or drinking wine with friends! I find it to be the perfect healthy balance.
What book are you currently reading? Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg. It’s about encouraging women to pursue their ambitions and changing the conversation of what we can’t do to what we can do.
TV show you never miss? “Property Brothers,” “Love it or List it,” “Rehab” addict! I have a passion for interior design and find myself watching episode after episode of practically anything on HGTV.
Your best beauty secret? TAKE THE DAY OFF! Never hit the sack without taking off your makeup. I keep an emergency supply of face wipes in my nightstand, just in case I have an extra late night.
